Once again the Tolland County 4-H Fair will host a letterboxing event
open to all. The fair is held Aug 9,10,11 at the Tolland
Agricultural Center Rte 30 in Vernon , Ct. The fair is open all day
Fri, Sat and Sun. This is a small fair with no rides and only 4-H
run concessions. It is a very family event and welcoming to
children. It is also a special year as it is the fairs 60 th
aniversary and the 100 th year of 4-H. The admission to the fair is
$6.00 per car. Walkins are $3.00 per person. The money goes towards
the fair expenses. Sat. has a chicken BBQ 4-6 and country music on
stage Fri and Sat. night. Please come out and find the centtennial
box and the trail of fair adventures and memories boxes. See you
there Leader of the Pack and the Cock-A-Doodle-Moo 4-H club. If you
are formerly involved with the 4-H program please sign in our guest

I needed to add that the fair closes at three (3) on Sunday nd
cleanup commences for the next three hours.
So come early stay late but if its sunday at three you're to late!

first time but I actually had to look them up. Im usually there very
early to clean barns and leave very late when cleanup and animals
quiet for the night. So here goes. Fri and Sat. 9-10 Sunday 8-3
Now that wasn't so hard..... but getting a cow named Millie to stop
walking on my feet thats another story..... to be continued. To give
a hint as to how " Far Out" our fair is, the cows are in the Milky
Way we have Lost in Sheep , visit Planet Cluck and buy some Out of
this world Chocolate milk! There is the TAC box and Needle in a
haystack, thanks Mr. Macnamee and Flower Garden Project boxes all
